Granite Countertops
Protect your investment with proper care
Seal annually · Clean weekly- →Wipe down with a soft cloth or sponge and warm water after each use.
- →Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner or a few drops of dish soap diluted in water — never vinegar, bleach, or citrus-based cleaners.
- →Dry the surface after cleaning to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.
- →For stuck-on food, use a plastic scraper — never metal blades or abrasive pads.
Gas Grills (Bull, Viking, Alfresco)
Keep your grill performing like new
Clean after each use · Deep clean monthly- →While the grill is still warm (not hot), brush the grates with a stainless steel grill brush to remove food debris.
- →Turn all burners to high for 10–15 minutes with the lid closed to burn off residue — this is called 'burning off.'
- →Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth while warm. Dry thoroughly to prevent water spots on stainless.
- →Close the lid after cooling to keep debris and insects out.
Stone Veneer & Masonry
Maintain the structural beauty of your outdoor kitchen
Inspect annually · Seal every 2–3 years- →Rinse stone veneer with a garden hose monthly to remove dust, pollen, and surface debris.
- →For deeper cleaning, use a soft-bristle brush and a diluted mild detergent (avoid acid-based cleaners).
- →Pressure washing is acceptable at low pressure (under 1,500 PSI) — high pressure can dislodge mortar joints.
- →Never use muriatic acid or harsh chemical cleaners on natural stone veneer — they cause permanent discoloration.
Outdoor Refrigerators & Ice Makers
Keep your True and Bull appliances running strong
Clean monthly · Service annually- →Wipe interior shelves and walls with a solution of 1 tablespoon baking soda per quart of warm water — this deodorizes and cleans without leaving chemical residue.
- →Remove and wash shelves and drawers in warm soapy water. Dry completely before reinstalling.
- →Clean the door gasket (rubber seal) with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. A damaged gasket causes the unit to work harder and increases energy use.
- →Wipe the exterior with a stainless steel cleaner in the direction of the grain.

Seasonal checklist for the whole space
Seasonal inspection · Annual deep clean- →Inspect all gas connections with soapy water for leaks before first use of the season.
- →Check electrical outlets and GFCI breakers — reset any tripped breakers.
- →Inspect the countertop for chips, cracks, or staining that occurred over winter.
- →Check the pergola or covered structure for any damage from winter storms — look for loose fasteners, cracked wood, or rust on steel.
- →Clean all appliances per their individual guides above.
- →Test all lighting and speaker systems.
